The Sustainable Festival Challenge 2nd edition is coming

Together with Cruïlla Festival, Barcelona Music Lab, Ship2B Foundation, and the Catalonia Waste Agency, Damm is launching the second edition of the Sustainable Festival Challenge: an innovation project that seeks startups working on environmental issues and helping the festival achieve new sustainability goals.

This edition will pay special attention to proposals focused on waste management, from reduction and valorization to a circular approach and transition towards a more sustainable and regenerative system. This is of particular relevance for Damm, which embraces circular economy principles throughout its value chain.

The call for applications is open until Sunday, September 3rd. A Selection Committee will choose the 10 finalist startups, which will participate in Barcelona Startup Week during the week of October 2nd and showcase their pilot projects at the Cruïlla Festival 2024.

Through the Sustainable Festival Challenge, efforts are combined to find the most revolutionary proposals and transform the festival into a highly sustainable model with the participation of companies that can address the challenges faced by large events and minimize their impact on the environment.
